The Forgotten Fables

Welcome to the world of The Forgotten Fables, a land where dark humor and eerie fantasy blend to form tales of strange characters and sinister ambitions. Set in the desolate moors and crumbling ruins of Grimmoor, these stories follow a twisted cast of unlikely heroes, grotesque commanders, and the cruel rulers who seek to control them.

Grimmoor is a kingdom long abandoned by hope, its people either lost to the desolation or bent to the will of Malek the Merciless, a tyrant driven by conquest. Malek’s armies sweep across the land, led by the most unusual of commanders: Bloatbelly Benny, the king’s awkward yet unsettlingly effective son. Though grotesque and often underestimated, Benny commands with an eerie skill, leading his forces to victory with dark humor and morbid determination.

At Benny’s side is Pikebound Pete, an unfortunate peasant turned undead puppet, whose silent agony is only overshadowed by Benny’s gleeful and poorly voiced impersonation of him. Together, they leave behind a legacy of grim laughter and strange success as they conquer in Malek’s name, slowly tightening the raider king’s grip on Grimmoor.

The Land of Grimmoor

Grimmoor is a land steeped in decay, where the echoes of past glory are buried beneath layers of ruin. Once a kingdom rich in life and prosperity, it now lies ravaged by war, neglect, and time. Dark forests encroach upon villages long abandoned, and the few remaining settlements cling desperately to survival amidst the barren moors and crumbling structures.
